Hot Dog math occurs when you buy a pack of Hot Dogs and a pack of Buns. One comes with 10, one comes with 12. Therefore, you never have enough buns to match the number of hot dogs and you end up in a never ending cycle of having to buy one or the other.

Hot Dog math is simple. Too simple for someone like you. All you need is 6 packs of the 10 quantity and 5 packs of the 12 quantity. Both equal 60. You are set now. Unfortunately on the average of 2 hot dogs per person you are at a loss cuz you don’t have 30 friends. Although stretching it over 2 meals and then over 2 days you will only need 7.5 friends which puts you in luck cuz that is only 2 over the national average lol. There you go… hot dog math in a nutshell.
