I finally gave in and i’m trying out Google Analytics. Not that I need it on this site, but it’ll be fun to play with. :-)

For those of you who run a web site and need a good tool to analyze your site traffic, check out Google Analytics

New Baby Monitor Features

Wednesday, September 13th, 2006

A friend of mine over at dopplercow just suggested a new “squelch” function for baby monitors… Similar to CB radio functionaly, but made for parents with varying degrees of patience for a nosiy baby. Here’s the list of settings.

  1. I’m a panicy parent, I need to hear the blood flowing through her veins.
  2. I’m concerned, please provide me with functions and noises above the sound of her breathing.
  3. I’m mildly concerned, but unless she’s crying I really don’t want to hear it.
  4. I’m kinda trying to take a nap, can we only alert me if she screams?
  5. I’m playing Dawn of War with some friends, unless she’s screaming her fricken head off, I’d really rather not be bothered.
  6. ZZZzz… >snort< Huh? What?
  7. Baby? What baby?
