Go vote you retards!

Friday, October 31st, 2008

If I hear one more person tell me that they’re not going to vote because “it probably won’t make a difference” I think i’m going to vomit.

People, you need to vote. It’s really not an option. Granted, I think most people are single issue voters who don’t pay attention to the big picture, but you still need to vote! Even if you’re not voting the same as me, you need to vote.

And while you’re at it, vote for McCain. :)

ID is getting a new home!

After many years with 1&1, i’ve decided to move to a new hosting provider. This site has lived on a dedicated server in the 1&1 data center for many years, and i’m frankly just tired of paying the bill for it! 1&1 has some nice dedicated packages, but they’re a little too rich for my blood so i’m moving to a shared hosting environment. Hopefully it won’t suck horribly! Considering the amount of site traffic that I get, I don’t think it will really matter all that much. I’ve tested the new provider and their shared hosting seems to be really fast and reliable. All of the reviews have been good and they’re not a “gigahost” type setup where they oversubscribe the crap out of their servers because they’re whoring out services at $4.95 a month. Only time will tell, but i’m definitely going to leave my old machine in place for a month or two just in case the new place sucks and I have to come back.

Pictures of the new Maxima

Wednesday, October 15th, 2008

Finally got around to uploading some pictures of the new Maxima. They aren’t the greatest and I really don’t think they do the car justice, but you’ll get the idea. :)

A little pee came out

Wednesday, October 15th, 2008

I’ll probably never play the game, but this review gets my vote for one of the best of all times. Anything titled “A little pee came out: Ars reviews the scares of Dead Space” can’t be that bad, right? Make sure to check out the “Good/Bad” section on the last page. Priceless stuff. Way to keep me reading Ars.
